Position Summary:

Lead the design and delivery of production-grade Agentic AI solutions on AWS, including NL-to-SQL and onboarding agents using Amazon Bedrock AgentCore. Drive secure RAG, guardrails, HITL, evaluation, and observability while leading a small engineering pod and collaborating directly with client architecture and security teams. HCLS/Life Sciences delivery experience is mandatory, across pharma, biotech, CRO, or health systems, with a Bioinformatics background strongly preferred.

- - Hands-on AWS in production, AWS Well-Architected, IAM depth, Terraform

- Amazon Bedrock: AgentCore (Runtime, Gateway, Identity, Observability), Knowledge Bases, Guardrails

- Python agent frameworks — Strands Agents SDK preferred; LangGraph or CrewAI with production depth

- End-to-end RAG: chunking, embeddings, hybrid retrieval, reranking, grounding and citation

- NL-to-SQL against an analytical warehouse: schema grounding, query validation, safety gating

- User-facing agents in production: SSE streaming, human-in-the-loop approval gates, session state

- Strong Python (async, typing, pytest), FastAPI, Docker, ECS/Fargate or Lambda

- Agent evaluation and observability:



golden datasets, regression suites, tracing, cost attribution

- LLM security: prompt injection, tool-mediated exfiltration, OWASP Top 10 for LLM Applications

- HCLS / life sciences delivery experience — pharma, biotech, CRO, or health system

- Leads 2–3 engineers and runs technical discussions directly with client architects and security teams

- - Amazon Redshift: Serverless, Spectrum, row-level security, Data API

- Data lake governance: Lake Formation, S3 Access Grants, IAM Identity Center, Entra ID / SCIM

- GxP and non-GxP compliance in regulated pharma, applied to AI systems

- AWS HealthOmics

- Policy-as-code authorization: Amazon Verified Permissions / Cedar

- React 19 + TypeScript; CopilotKit, AG-UI, or similar chat framework

- Cancer genomics data: cBioPortal, MAF/VCF, OncoTree

- AWS certification: Solutions Architect Professional or ML Engineer / Specialty

- Experience of leading small teams

Required Qualifications

- - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Engineering, Bioinformatics, or a related field.

- Experience with AI/ML, Data Science, Software Development, or related areas.

- Robust programming skills in Python.

- Experience with Machine Learning, Deep Learning, NLP, and Generative AI.
