Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior AI Cinematic Editor who can independently take a written story from concept to a polished, publish-ready cinematic film using AI-assisted production workflows.

The ideal candidate will combine professional filmmaking/editing expertise with advanced AI video-generation skills and have solid creative judgment.

Key Responsibilities

- Own end-to-end production of cinematic AI films.
- Convert written stories into compelling cinematic sequences.
- Develop storyboards, shot lists, scene breakdowns and visual direction.
- Design AI-assisted workflows for efficient film production.
- Generate high-quality AI images and video using Kling, Runway, Veo-class or equivalent tools.
- Develop advanced prompting techniques for consistent characters, environments and scenes.
- Maintain visual continuity throughout an entire film.
- Edit AI-generated footage into professional-quality cinematic films.
- Handle pacing, transitions, sound design, music, ambience and voiceovers.
- Add captions, disclaimers and other required graphics.
- Create cinematic thumbnails and promotional Shorts/Reels.
- Identify AI-generation errors and correct them before publication.
- Ensure appropriate representation of cultural and religious subjects.
- Review final films for visual quality, continuity and storytelling.
- Manage revisions independently.
- Maintain organised prompts, project files, assets and production documentation.
- Work directly with the Founder/Content Lead on creative direction.
- Consistently deliver against weekly production schedules.

Required Experience & Skills
- 5 years of experience in filmmaking, video editing, animation, VFX, digital content or related fields.




- Strong portfolio of completed cinematic video work.
- Proven experience with AI video-generation workflows.
- Advanced practical knowledge of Kling, Runway, Veo-class or equivalent AI tools.
- Advanced proficiency in DaVinci Resolve, Premiere Pro or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of cinematography and visual storytelling.
- Strong knowledge of camera language, composition, lighting and visual continuity.
- Strong sound-design and music-editing skills.
- Ability to transform a written story into a complete cinematic film.
- Experience creating YouTube/digital video content.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong ownership of quality and deadlines.

Mandatory Portfolio Requirement

Candidates must provide a strong portfolio/showreel or live YouTube links.

The portfolio should demonstrate the ability to create:

- Cinematic storytelling
- AI-generated video
- Complete sequences/films
- Consistent visual style
- Sound and narration
- Professional editing

The original hiring brief specifically requires either a live YouTube link in this genre or a test film that already demonstrates the required style.

Cultural & Content Sensitivity The role may involve mythology and culturally significant subjects. Candidates must be able to present such subjects respectfully and carefully, without mockery or deliberately misleading representation.

Where stories reference religious texts or traditions, candidates must not present invented material as authentic scripture.

Important

This is not a classic 3D/VFX-only role.

We need someone who can actually produce and ship complete AI-assisted cinematic films on a regular production schedule.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
