Role Description The Senior Accountant role is a full-time, on-site position based in Madhya Pradesh, India. This role involves managing day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger entries, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and month-end and year-end closing activities.

The Senior

Accountant will prepare and review financial statements, support budgeting and forecasting, monitor cash flow, and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and local regulations. The role includes supervising or guiding junior accounting staff, coordinating with internal teams and external auditors,



and maintaining accurate financial records and documentation.

Accountant will also support process improvements, implement internal controls, and provide financial analysis to inform management decisions.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of general accounting principles, financial reporting, and statutory compliance.
- Proficiency with accounting software and Excel, including creating and analyzing financial reports.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Ability to review, reconcile, and maintain accurate ledgers and financial documentation.
- Solid understanding of internal controls and audit preparedness.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Proven experience in a senior or lead accounting role, preferably in a similar industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CA, CPA, CMA) is an advantage.
- Ability to work in office full time in Madhya Pradesh, India, and manage responsibilities independently.
