Role Description The Senior Accountant will manage end-to-end accounting and reporting activities for multiple client organizations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of financial information.

Responsibilities include overseeing bookkeeping, preparing management accounts and statutory financial statements, coordinating VAT and tax computations, and supporting payroll-related accounting. The role involves performing reconciliations, monitoring cash flow, assisting with budgeting and forecasting, and contributing to financial modelling and advisory assignments.

Accountant will collaborate closely with client stakeholders, respond to queries, and provide practical finance insights to support decision-making.

Qualifications

- Strong core accounting skills, including general ledger management, bookkeeping, reconciliations, and preparation of management accounts and financial statements.
- Experience with tax-related work such as VAT, corporation tax support, and understanding of relevant regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in financial planning and analysis, including cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and basic financial modelling.
- Ability to use accounting and finance software tools effectively, with comfort working in technology-enabled, cloud-based environments.
- Clear, professional communication skills for engaging with clients, explaining financial information, and preparing concise reports and presentations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail capabilities, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency in a client-service setting.
- Relevant professional qualification such as CA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent, or an advanced degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Prior experience in public accounting, outsourced finance services, or working with SMEs and entrepreneurial businesses is highly beneficial.
