We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant with hands-on experience in accounting, taxation, GST, TDS, and statutory compliance. The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of accounting principles, tax filing processes, and financial documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting activities and maintain accurate financial records.
- Record and maintain journal entries, ledgers, vouchers, and supporting documents.
- Prepare and file GST Returns GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B.
- Handle TDS calculation, payment, and TDS Return Filing.
- Prepare and file Income Tax Returns ITR 1 to ITR 7.
- Perform regular Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS) and ledger reconciliation.
- Assist in tax computation and ensure timely statutory payments and filings.
- Prepare Profit & Loss Statements, Balance Sheets, and other financial reports.
- Verify accounting transactions and identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain proper documentation for GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory requirements.
- Assist internal and statutory audits by providing required financial records and documents.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting, taxation, and statutory regulations.
- Stay updated with changes in GST, TDS, Income Tax, and accounting regulations.
- Coordinate with internal teams for accounting and taxation-related requirements.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Accounting and Bookkeeping
- Hands-on experience in GST Filing – GSTR-1 & GSTR-3B
- Good knowledge of TDS Calculation & TDS Return Filing
- Experience in Income Tax Return Filing – ITR 1 to ITR 7
- Knowledge of Tax Computation and Statutory Compliance
- Experience in Bank and Ledger Reconciliation
- Knowledge of Tally / Tally Prime
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel
- Understanding of P&L;, Balance Sheet, and Financial Statements
- Valuable analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and ability to meet statutory filing deadlines
