Role Description The Security Officer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Delhi, India.
The Security
Officer will be responsible for monitoring and securing assigned facilities, controlling access points, and ensuring compliance with security protocols. Daily tasks include conducting regular patrols, inspecting security equipment, responding to incidents, and preparing explicit, accurate reports. The role also involves coordinating with internal teams and relevant authorities, supporting emergency procedures, and participating in security drills and briefings.
The Security
Officer is expected to maintain high standards of professionalism, situational awareness, and confidentiality while protecting personnel, assets, and information.
Qualifications
- Experience in security operations, facility protection, or law enforcement, with strong situational awareness and risk assessment capabilities.
- Knowledge of security procedures, access control systems, and incident response practices, including basic emergency management skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly in spoken and written English or Hindi, prepare incident reports, and follow structured instructions and protocols.
- Physical fitness sufficient for regular patrols, emergency response, and extended periods of standing or movement.
- Strong integrity, reliability, and adherence to ethical standards, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and work effectively in a disciplined environment.
- Prior experience in military, defense, or governmental security roles is an advantage.
- Relevant certification or training in security management or safety practices is beneficial.
- Minimum educational qualification at the secondary or higher secondary level; higher education in security, criminology, or related fields is a plus.
