Role Description The SDE Intern role at Autom8AI is a full-time, on-site position based in Aligarh. In this role, the intern will assist in designing, developing, and testing back-end components for the automation platform, working closely with software engineers to implement new features and improve existing functionality.

Day-to-day tasks include writing clean and maintainable code, debugging and resolving issues, participating in code reviews, and collaborating with the team to translate product requirements into technical solutions. The intern will also contribute to documentation, learn best practices in software development,



and support integration of AI-powered automation workflows. This position offers hands-on experience in building real-world systems in a collaborative setting.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and basic software engineering principles.
- Practical experience or coursework in Software Development and Programming, preferably with one or more modern programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, or similar).
- Understanding of Back-End Web Development concepts such as APIs, databases, and server-side logic.
- Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and ability to apply OOP concepts to design and implementation.
- Ability to learn quickly, analyze problems, and propose logical solutions in a team setting.
- Good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and basic development workflows is an advantage.
- Interest in AI, automation, and building scalable software solutions is highly beneficial.
