Job Title: SAP S/4 HANA Basis Administrator

Location: HCLTech Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh (on-site)

Experience: 4-8 years

The SAP S/4 HANA Basis Administrator is responsible for the installation, configuration, administration, monitoring, maintenance, performance optimization, security compliance, and lifecycle management of SAP landscapes across Development, Quality Assurance, Pre-Production, and Production environments. The role ensures high availability, system stability, disaster recovery readiness, and compliance with organizational, regulatory, and audit requirements.

SAP Basis & HANA Administration

Provide technical support for SAP Basis and SAP HANA environments by independently resolving incidents, service requests, and change tickets. Install, configure, monitor, and maintain SAP S/4 HANA systems and landscapes. Perform SAP system refreshes, client copies, kernel upgrades, and patch implementations.

Manage SAP Transport Management System (TMS) activities across development, quality, and production environments. Monitor SAP system health, availability, and performance. Ability to support mission critical support 24*7 for PROD workplace Incident & Problem Management

Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring and escalated SAP issues. Troubleshoot SAP application, database, operating system, and interface-related problems. Ensure timely ticket resolution within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).



Minimize resolution rejections and case reopenings through effective issue management. Performance & System Optimization

Analyze system performance and implement optimization measures. Monitor SAP HANA database performance and perform tuning activities. Manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures. Ensure optimal utilization of system resources. Knowledge Management & Team Support

Create, update, and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles. Deliver training sessions and technical guidance for new team members. Mentor junior analysts and support team capability development. Share best practices and lessons learned across the support organization. Must-Have Skills

SAP Basis Administration SAP S/4 HANA Administration SAP HANA Database Administration SAP Transport Management System (TMS) SAP System Monitoring and Performance Tuning Incident and Problem Management Service Now or similar ticketing tools Hands-on experience supporting SAP S/4 HANA environments. Experience in production support, upgrades, migrations, and system maintenance activities. Preferred Certifications
