We are looking for an experienced Open Text Consultant / Open Text Extended ECM for SAP Specialist with strong expertise in Open Text, SAP integration, Content Server, and x ECM solutions.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in installation, configuration, administration, implementation, SAP integration, Business Workspaces, Smart UI, OTDS, Archive Center, and Records Management.

Position Details

Role: Open Text Extended ECM for SAP Consultant

Location: Bangalore

Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

Design, configure, administer, and support Open Text Extended ECM for SAP (x ECM) solutions. Demonstrate strong understanding of both SAP and Open Text functionalities. Lead and deliver at least one end-to-end Open Text Extended ECM for SAP implementation. Configure and integrate Open Text solutions with SAP S/4 HANA and relevant SAP business processes. Perform technical and functional configuration of SAP and Open Text Content Server.

Configure Business

Workspaces, References, and Relationships based on business requirements. Work with Open Text Content Server and Archive Server, preferably versions 16.x and above.

Drive





Fiori integration with x ECM in collaboration with SAP Fiori/UI development teams. Design and configure Smart UI experiences for business users based on roles and business requirements using Perspective Manager. Work hands-on with OTDS (Open Text Directory Services), Archive Center, and related Open Text components. Configure and support Open Text Records Management capabilities. Troubleshoot integration, configuration, and application issues across SAP and Open Text environments. Collaborate with SAP, functional, technical, and business teams to deliver scalable ECM solutions.

Required Skills & Experience

Strong hands-on experience with Open Text Extended ECM for SAP / x ECM. Deep understanding of SAP and Open Text architecture, functionalities, and integration. Proven experience in installation, configuration, administration, and implementation of Open Text solutions. Successfully delivered at least one Open Text Extended ECM for SAP implementation. Strong experience integrating Open Text with SAP S/4 HANA. Hands-on experience with Content Server, Archive Server, OTDS, and Archive Center.

Experience configuring Business Workspaces, References, and Relationships.

Experience with Smart UI and Perspective Manager. Knowledge of Records Management.

Experience working with SAP Fiori integration with x ECM. Robust troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities. Good to Have

Knowledge of Open Text Content Server REST APIs. Experience with newer Open Text platform versions and SAP S/4 HANA environments. Experience working on enterprise Document Management / Enterprise Content Management implementations. Strong stakeholder communication and collaboration skills.
