Education Qualifications :

- Engineering graduate. Postgraduates in engineering will have an added advantage.
- Candidates with SAP S/4HANA MM certification will be preferred.

Industry Preference :

In house experience with a Product based Industry would be preferred or having experience with Consulting domain and would have handled the SAP MM projects for Manufacturing clientele.

Experience :

- Overall, 10 - 15 years of experience.
- SAP MM experience is a must.
- Must have been a part of atleast two successful SAP S/4HANA MM implementations / proven experience leading SAP S/4HANA MM teams and projects.
- Having an experience in core business (Procurement) will be an added advantage.
- The candidate's current CTC should be from 25 LPA to 35 LPA.

Purpose of the Position :

The SAP S/4HANA MM Module Functional Lead will own the smooth running of the Procurement process in SAP S/4 HANA setting.

This role involves working closely with Global Process Owners (GPOs) and business users to understand procurement processes, translating business requirements into SAP S/4HANA solutions, and ensure efficient procurement, inventory management, and material valuation processes.

Key Roles & Responsibilities :

1. Leadership & Ownership :

- Act as the SAP S/4HANA MM module owner from the implementation and execution perspective globally.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for SAP S/4 HANA MM-related processes and work as the global power user for the MM module.
- Leverage the standard SAP functionality as a foundation for global MM process transformation.

2. Solution Design & Architecture :

- Support the implementation of the end-to-end procurement, inventory management, and material planning solutions aligned with business requirements.
- Validate business requirements from stakeholders, co-create the business processes to SAP S/4HANA MM functionalities, if required.




- Own the SAP S/4HANA MM global templates and ensure adherence across rollouts.
- Ensure best-practice use of SAP S/4HANA MM innovations to improve procurement processes.
- Act as the process enabler and own the global master-data.

3. Implementation :

- Organize the complex SAP S/4HANA MM module components including Procurement, Inventory Management, Material & Vendor Master Data, Valuation, Account Determination, Pricing, and Release Strategies.
- Participate and lead the full lifecycle SAP implementations (Blueprint, Realization, Testing, Go-Live, Support).
- Define and document business processes specifications.
- Ensure seamless cross functional integration of SAP S/4HANA MM with other SAP modules such as SD, FI, PP, CRM / WM / TM.
- Collaborate with technical experts for enhancements, interfaces, and reports.
- Define KPIs and metrices to measure the end-to-end processes.

4. Business Partnership :

- Engage with business stakeholders, process owners, and leadership teams.
- Translate strategic business needs into SAP-enabled solutions.
- Drive process harmonization and continuous improvement initiatives.

5. Testing, Deployment & Support :

- Lead testing strategy (Unit, SIT, UAT) and defect resolution.
- Support cutover planning, data migration validation, and go-live activities.
- Provide post-go-live hyper care and ongoing MM production support to end-users.

6. Governance & Change Management :

- Review and manage change requests, system enhancements and impact assessments and follow the approval process.
- Provide impact analysis for new requirements.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and documentation standards.
- Support system upgrades, enhancements, and SAP releases.

7. Documentation & Training :

- Ensure creation and maintenance of functional design documents, process flows, and SOPs.
- Lead end-user training, workshops, and knowledge transfer sessions.
- Updating and maintaining policies and support the GPOs in establishing business rules.
