SAP DMS Consultant / DMS Migration Lead

Location: Bangalore/Hyderabad/Pune (Hybrid)

CTC: 18 LPA

Experience: 10–15 years

Technology: SAP ECC / S/4HANA, SAP DMS, Content Server, Document Migration

Key Responsibilities

- Lead SAP DMS implementation, configuration, migration and integration activities.
- Solid hands-on experience with SAP Document Management System (DMS) including Document Info Records (DIR), document types, document status, versions, originals and classifications.
- Plan and execute legacy document migration to SAP DMS/S/4HANA.
- Analyze legacy document repositories and define migration strategy, mapping, cleansing and transformation rules.
- Prepare document migration objects, mapping templates and migration specifications.
- Extract, cleanse, validate and load documents and associated metadata/DIR information.
- Experience with SAP Content Server, ArchiveLink and/or external document repositories.
- Perform migration mock runs, reconciliation, defect resolution and final cutover migration.
- Work closely with SAP MM, PM, PP,



FI/CO and business teams to identify document relationships and integration requirements.
- Handle document linking to SAP objects such as Material, Equipment, Functional Location, BOM, Purchase Order, Asset and Maintenance Order.
- Define and execute SIT, UAT, regression testing and migration validation.
- DMS Master Data, DMS document type/class/characteristics/status network configuration, Change Control Process, DMS workflow for multilevel approvals within organization, Mass upload and download of DMS documents
- Support data reconciliation and ensure document count, metadata and document-object relationships are accurately migrated.
- Prepare migration runbooks, cutover plans, technical specifications and operational documentation.
- Coordinate with business, technical, infrastructure and offshore/onshore teams.

Pay: ₹1,800,000.00 per year
