Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP BDC (Business Data Cloud) Developer with 5+ years of experience in SAP data and analytics technologies. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, integrating, and maintaining data solutions using SAP Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), and SAP Databricks.

The role requires strong hands-on experience in data modeling, data integration, analytics, reporting, and cloud-based data engineering. The ideal candidate should be able to work across the complete data lifecycle—from extracting data from SAP and non-SAP sources to building analytical models and delivering business insights through SAC.

Key Responsibilities1. SAP Datasphere

· Design, develop, and maintain data models and analytical models in SAP Datasphere.

· Build Spaces, Data Builder objects, graphical views, SQL views, and analytical models.

· Develop data integration pipelines to extract and transform data from SAP and non-SAP systems.

· Work with SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW/BW4HANA, SAP HANA, and other enterprise data sources.

· Implement data federation, replication, and transformation based on business requirements.

· Develop reusable data models following SAP Datasphere best practices.

· Optimize data models and queries for performance and scalability.

· Troubleshoot data loading, transformation, connectivity, and performance issues.

· Implement appropriate security, access controls, and data governance within Datasphere.

1. SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

· Develop interactive dashboards, analytical applications, and reports using SAP Analytics Cloud. · Create stories using optimized Datasphere models and other supported data sources.

· Develop calculated measures, dimensions, restricted measures, filters, and input controls.

· Implement SAC planning and analytical capabilities where required.

· Configure live and import data connections.

· Build executive dashboards and operational reports based on business requirements.

· Optimize SAC stories and queries for performance and usability.

· Work with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and convert them into analytical solutions.

1. SAP Databricks / Data Engineering

· Develop and maintain data engineering solutions using SAP Databricks. · Build data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, cleansing, and processing of large datasets.

· Work with Apache Spark, SQL, Python/PySpark, and Databricks notebooks.

· Develop scalable data processing solutions using Delta Lake and related Databricks capabilities.

· Integrate SAP and non-SAP data sources with Databricks-based data platforms.





· Perform data cleansing, transformation, aggregation, and enrichment.

· Implement data quality checks and validation processes.

· Optimize Spark jobs, SQL queries, and data pipelines for performance and cost efficiency.

· Support integration between Databricks, SAP Datasphere, and downstream analytics solutions.

1. SAP Business Data Cloud

· Work on end-to-end SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC) solutions involving Datasphere, SAC, and SAP Databricks. · Understand business and technical requirements and translate them into scalable data solutions.

· Participate in BDC architecture and solution design discussions.

· Develop integrated data pipelines across SAP and non-SAP environments.

· Support data products and analytical use cases built on the BDC platform.

· Ensure data is available, governed, secure, and optimized for analytical consumption.

· Troubleshoot integration and data-flow issues across Datasphere, Databricks, and SAC.

1. Data Modeling & SQL

· Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models. · Develop complex SQL queries, views, procedures, and transformations.

· Implement dimensional modeling concepts such as Star Schema, Fact and Dimension models.

· Perform data profiling, cleansing, validation, and reconciliation.

· Analyze and optimize SQL queries and data processing workloads.

· Ensure consistency and accuracy of data across source and target systems.

1. Integration & Data Management

· Develop data integration solutions between SAP and third-party systems. · Work with APIs, OData, database connections, files, and other integration mechanisms.

· Monitor data pipelines and resolve failures within agreed SLAs.

· Implement error handling, logging, and data validation mechanisms.

· Support data migration and transformation activities when required.

1. Collaboration & Delivery

· Work closely with business analysts, functional consultants, data engineers, architects, and business stakeholders. · Participate in requirement gathering, technical design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.

· Prepare technical documentation, data-flow diagrams, and solution documentation.

· Participate in code reviews and follow development and deployment standards.

· Provide production support and root-cause analysis for data and reporting issues.





· Mentor junior developers and contribute to the continuous improvement of development practices.

Required Technical Skills

Must Have:

· 5+ years of experience in SAP Data & Analytics technologies.

· Strong hands-on experience with SAP Datasphere.

· Strong experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).

· Hands-on experience with Databricks / SAP Databricks.

· Strong SQL skills.

· Good knowledge of data modeling and data warehousing concepts.

· Experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW/BW4HANA, or SAP HANA.

· Experience in data extraction, transformation, integration, and data quality.

· Knowledge of Python/PySpark and Apache Spark.

· Experience developing analytical dashboards and reports.

· Good understanding of cloud data platforms and modern data architecture.

Good to Have

· Experience with SAP Business Data Cloud architecture and concepts.

· SAP Datasphere certification.

· SAP Analytics Cloud certification.

· Databricks certification.

· Experience with SAP BTP.

· Knowledge of SAP HANA Cloud.

· Experience with APIs/OData and third-party integrations.

· Knowledge of Delta Lake and Lakehouse architecture.

· Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices.

· Knowledge of data governance, security, and access management.

· Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Ideal Candidate Profile An ideal candidate is a hands-on SAP BDC Developer who can work across SAP Datasphere + SAP Analytics Cloud + SAP Databricks, rather than being specialized in only one component.

The candidate should be comfortable working across the complete flow:

SAP / Non-SAP Sources → SAP Databricks → SAP Datasphere → SAP Analytics Cloud → Business Insights and should have the ability to understand both data engineering and analytics requirements.

Pay: ₹120,000.00 - ₹160,000.00 per month

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Hyderabad, Telangana (Hyderabad, Hyderabad District)
