Role Description The Academic Lead at TBH is a full-time, in office role based in Kochi, responsible for overseeing the academic quality and delivery of training programs in cybersecurity, cyber forensics, AI, machine learning, and ethical hacking.

The Academic

Lead will design and update curricula, align content with industry standards and international certifications, and ensure courses meet learning outcomes. This role involves mentoring instructors, coordinating schedules, monitoring classroom performance, and providing feedback to improve teaching methods and learner engagement.

Lead will collaborate with the Cybersecurity Wing to integrate real-world case studies, current threat landscapes, and practical labs into training offerings.



The role also includes interacting with learners, addressing academic concerns, supporting assessments and examinations, and contributing to new program development based on emerging technologies and market needs.

Qualifications

- Strong academic background in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or related fields, with experience in curriculum design and academic administration.
- Hands-on knowledge in cybersecurity domains such as vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, cyber forensics, ethical hacking, and security best practices.
- Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts, tools, or frameworks, and the ability to integrate these topics into training programs.
- Experience in teaching, training, or mentoring learners, with skills in lesson planning, assessment design, and classroom management.
- Ability to align programs with international certifications (e.g., EC-Council or similar), including understanding of exam objectives and certification standards.
- Strong communication, presentation, and documentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical topics in an accessible manner.
- Demonstrated organizational and leadership abilities, including coordinating multiple programs, managing academic staff, and meeting timelines.
- Comfort working on-site in Kochi, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and adapting to evolving technologies and industry requirements.
- Prior experience in an educational institution, training center, or corporate learning environment is advantageous.
