Job Title: Room Service Order Taker / Room Service Associate

Job Summary:

Responsible for efficiently taking, recording, and coordinating guest room-service orders while providing courteous and qualified service. Ensures orders are accurate, communicated to the kitchen and service team promptly, and followed up to maintain guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

- Receive room-service orders through telephone or other hotel ordering systems.
- Greet guests professionally and communicate menu items, prices, and available options.
- Accurately record guest room number, order details, special requests, and delivery preferences.
- Repeat orders to guests to confirm accuracy.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and room-service team for timely preparation and delivery.
- Monitor order status and follow up on delayed orders.
- Handle guest queries and complaints politely and escalate issues when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of orders, cancellations, and special requests.
- Promote additional menu items and hotel services when appropriate.
- Follow hotel standards for hygiene, guest privacy, telephone etiquette, and service quality.




- Coordinate with housekeeping, front office, kitchen, and food & beverage teams as required.
- Process or coordinate billing according to hotel procedures.
- Ensure guest feedback is communicated to the appropriate department.

Required Skills
- Excellent communication and telephone etiquette.
- Good knowledge of food and beverage menus.
- Strong listening and order-taking skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Customer-service orientation.
- Ability to work under pressure during busy periods.
- Basic computer/POS skills.
- Good English and Hindi communication; additional languages are an advantage.

Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 10th/12th pass; hotel-management qualification preferred.
- Previous experience in room service, restaurant service, order taking, or hotel operations is preferred.
- Freshers with good communication and customer-service skills may also be considered.

Pay: From ₹10,000.00 per month
