Job Purpose The Shift Manager / Captain manages the daily operations and staff during an assigned shift. This role ensures smooth floor service, fast order preparation, clean surroundings, and consistent product quality while supporting the Store Manager with shift-level execution.

KRA / Accountabilities

- Supervise store operations and floor crew during assigned opening, mid, or closing shifts.
- Assign duties to team members and ensure proper station coverage throughout the shift.
- Execute opening, shift-change handover, and store closing checklists accurately.
- Oversee customer service on the floor, handling basic customer queries and complaints directly.
- Monitor kitchen order output to ensure correct portions, presentation, and preparation speed.
- Enforce food safety, personal hygiene, and cleanliness standards across counter and kitchen areas.
- Ensure team members follow company standard operating procedures during the shift.
- Track shift inventory levels and inform the Store Manager about stock shortages on time.




- Monitor food handling on the floor to minimize accidental waste and product damage.
- Check store equipment function and report maintenance issues or breakdowns promptly.
- Assist with billing, cash collection, and end-of-shift register reconciliation as required.
- Complete shift logbooks, checklists, and operational handovers for the next shift supervisor.

Must have / Tech / Pref. Qualifications

Education & Experience:

Education: Higher Secondary (10 2) or Diploma in Hotel Management / Hospitality.

Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in a café or QSR outlet, with at least 6 months as a Senior Team Member, Captain, or Shift Supervisor.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
