Resident Butler

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced, highly professional Resident Butler to provide exceptional service to an Ambassador in a prestigious residence in Greece.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in luxury 5-star hotels with excellent knowledge of formal butler standards, etiquette, discretion and guest service.

The successful candidate will be expected to maintain the highest standards of hospitality, presentation, confidentiality, and professionalism at all times.

Key Responsibilities

Provide butler service to the Ambassador and family/official guests.

Maintain a consistently 5-star luxury hospitality standard within the residence.

Welcome and assist VIP and official guests with warmth and professionalism.

Manage formal dining service, including table setting, serving, clearing, and beverage service.

Prepare and serve tea, coffee, refreshments, and beverages according to individual preferences.

Assist with breakfast, lunch, dinner, receptions, private functions, and official gatherings.

Ensure bedrooms, living areas, dining areas, and guest spaces are maintained to impeccable standards.





Handle wardrobe including garment preparation and packing/unpacking.

Assist with luggage, travel preparation, airport transfers, and arrival/departure arrangements.

Maintain knowledge of the Ambassador’s daily preferences, routines, appointments, and service requirements.

Coordinate with staff, chefs, drivers, housekeeping, security, and external service providers.

Assist in organizing dinners, receptions, meetings, and social events.

Ensure all household service is delivered smoothly, efficiently, and with complete discretion.

Maintain strict confidentiality regarding the Ambassador, family, guests, residence, schedules, and official matters.

Monitor household supplies, tableware, beverages, and service items and report replenishment requirements.

Support the overall smooth operation of the residence and undertake other reasonable duties as required.

Required Experience

Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Butler, Resident Butler, VIP Butler, or similar position.

5-star hotel experience is strongly preferred.

Previous experience in a private residence, VIP household, diplomatic residence, royal household, or executive environment will be highly advantageous.

Strong knowledge of formal and luxury hospitality service standards.

Experience serving VIPs, ambassadors, executives, distinguished guests is preferred.

Strong knowledge of butler etiquette and formal service.

Excellent table service and dining etiquette.

Knowledge of wine, beverages, tea and coffee service is an advantage.

Hospitality / Hotel Management qualification is an advantage.

Professional Butler training or certification is highly desirable.
