Role Description This is a full time, on-site Research and Development Engineer role based in the Pune Division. The Research and Development Engineer will design, develop, and improve medical device components and systems, working closely with cross-functional teams in engineering, quality, and manufacturing.

Daily responsibilities include conducting technical research, executing feasibility studies, developing prototypes, and supporting validation and testing activities to ensure compliance with medical device standards. The role involves optimizing designs for manufacturability, collaborating on process improvements,



documenting technical work and test results, and supporting transfer of products from development to production. The engineer will also contribute to continuous innovation, problem-solving on the shop floor, and technical support for customer-specific projects.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust Research and Development (R&D;), Product Development, and Research skills for medical device projects.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills and Testing experience to evaluate prototypes, processes, and product performance.
- Relevant skills in design for manufacturability, material selection, and process optimization are highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Biomedical, or related Engineering discipline from an accredited institution.
- Experience in medical device, precision engineering, or regulated manufacturing environments is preferred.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications, use engineering tools and software, and follow quality and regulatory requirements.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams on-site.
