Karmalatics is a Reddit-focused marketing and community operations agency working with brands and marketing agencies on Reddit research, campaign coordination, contributor management, and community-focused marketing operations.

We are building a remote operations team to support our growing network of clients and contributors.

About the Role

We are hiring a Reddit Operations & Recruitment Associate to support contributor recruitment, Reddit research, campaign coordination, and day-to-day operational activities.

This is not a general social-media role.

The position requires someone who already understands Reddit, regularly uses the platform, and is familiar with how different subreddit communities operate.

A major part of your work will involve identifying and onboarding suitable contributors, coordinating ongoing projects, researching Reddit communities, maintaining operational records, and communicating with contributors.

Key ResponsibilitiesContributor Recruitment

- Identify potential contributors through relevant online channels
- Communicate with prospective contributors and explain available opportunities
- Screen applicants based on relevant experience, reliability, communication skills, and familiarity with Reddit
- Review contributor suitability for different types of projects
- Assist with contributor onboarding
- Maintain organised records of contributors, availability, skills, and performance
- Follow up with potential and existing contributors when required
- Help expand Karmalatics' contributor network

Reddit & Community Research
- Research relevant subreddits for different industries, audiences, and topics
- Review subreddit rules and community guidelines
- Understand differences in tone, culture, and expectations between communities
- Identify communities relevant to client research and campaigns
- Monitor Reddit discussions, trends, and community activity
- Assess whether proposed content is relevant and appropriate for a particular community

Campaign Coordination
- Assist with coordinating Reddit-focused marketing projects




- Communicate project requirements and deadlines to contributors
- Monitor the progress of assigned work
- Follow up on pending submissions
- Review completed work for accuracy and quality
- Coordinate revisions when required
- Maintain accurate campaign and task records
- Help ensure projects are completed within required timelines

Operations
- Maintain internal spreadsheets, dashboards, and contributor records
- Update task statuses and operational information
- Help track contributor performance
- Assist with payment and performance records
- Organise project information across multiple clients
- Identify operational problems and suggest improvements
- Assist the team with reporting, research, recruitment, and administrative tasks

Required Reddit Experience

Active Reddit experience is required for this position.

Applicants should already use Reddit and have practical familiarity with:

- Subreddit communities
- Reddit karma and account reputation
- Posting and commenting conventions
- Subreddit rules
- Reddit moderation
- Community-specific cultures and expectations
- Identifying appropriate communities for different topics
- Recognising behaviour that may be considered spam or inappropriate by a community

Preferred Experience

Experience in any of the following is helpful but not mandatory:

- Reddit community management
- Digital marketing
- Recruitment or talent sourcing
- Contributor or freelancer management
- Online community research
- Marketing agency operations
- Project coordination
- Social media operations

Formal education is less important than practical ability, communication skills, Reddit knowledge, and reliability.

Compensation The position offers

- ₹8,000 fixed monthly compensation
- Additional performance-based incentives
- Incentives based on measurable recruitment, operational, and performance outcomes

Performance incentives are variable and are not guaranteed.

Strong performers may take on additional responsibilities and qualify for increased performance incentives as the company grows.

Work Environment

This is a fully remote position.

The role requires regular online communication and use of tools such as:

- Google Sheets
- Email
- Online dashboards
- Messaging platforms
- Video meetings
- Reddit and other online research platforms

You should be comfortable managing your responsibilities independently while staying in regular communication with the Karmalatics team.
