About the Role

We are hiring an experienced R&D; / NPD Engineer – Power Electronics for our Punjab location. The candidate will be responsible for the development, testing, validation, and continuous improvement of UPS, Inverter, and Lithium Battery-based products.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a hands-on R&D; setting and should have practical knowledge of power electronics hardware, product testing, troubleshooting, and NPD activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle new product development activities for UPS, inverter, and lithium-based power solutions.
- Design, modify, test, and validate power electronics circuits and hardware.
- Work on inverter power stages, DC-DC converters, chargers, SMPS, and related circuits.
- Conduct prototype assembly, bring-up, debugging, and performance testing.
- Perform load testing, efficiency testing, thermal testing, protection testing, and reliability checks.
- Troubleshoot hardware failures and conduct root-cause analysis.
- Support development and integration of Lithium Battery, BMS, and energy-storage solutions.
- Work closely with PCB, Firmware, Mechanical, Production, and Quality teams.
- Prepare BOMs,



test procedures, technical reports, circuit documentation, and product specifications.
- Support product validation and transfer of successful designs to the production team.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction, performance enhancement, and product reliability improvement.
- Provide technical support during pilot production and resolve R&D-related; production issues.

Required Skills & Experience

- 2–6 years of relevant experience in Power Electronics R&D; / NPD.
- Hands-on experience with UPS, Inverters, Chargers, SMPS, or power conversion systems.
- Good knowledge of MOSFETs, IGBTs, power diodes, switching circuits, and protection circuits.
- Experience in hardware troubleshooting and product validation.
- Knowledge of Lithium Battery, BMS, ESS/BESS will be preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced product development environment.
- Candidates with practical prototype development and testing experience will be preferred.

Qualification B.Tech / B.E. / M.Tech / Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Power Electronics, or a relevant discipline.

Compensation

5 LPA – 10 LPA, based on experience, technical knowledge, relevant industry exposure, and performance.
