Role Description The Quality Line Inspector is a full-time, on-site role based at the Ghanshyam Industries facility in Jamnagar. This role involves inspecting metal components at various stages of production to ensure they meet defined quality standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements.

The Quality Line

Inspector will perform visual and dimensional checks using gauges and measurement tools, document inspection results, and report non-conformities to supervisors and quality teams.



Daily responsibilities include monitoring process adherence on the shop floor, supporting root cause analysis for defects, and collaborating with production staff to implement corrective actions. The role also requires maintaining inspection records, following established safety and ISO procedures, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust skills in Quality Control and Inspection to verify component dimensions, finishes, and overall conformity.

- Candidates should possess skills in Quality Assurance and Quality Management to support process compliance, documentation, and continuous improvement activities.

- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret data, identify trends, and assist in root cause analysis of quality issues.

- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions.

- Experience with measurement instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection tools.

- Prior experience in a manufacturing or machining environment, preferably in metal components or related industries.

- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively on the production floor.

- Relevant technical qualification or diploma in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field is preferred.
