Key Responsibilities

- Own and maintain the factory Quality Management System (QMS) and ensure its effective implementation.

- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015, applicable customer specifications, and regulatory requirements.

- Ensure adherence to incoming, in-process, and finished-product inspection and testing procedures.

- Review inspection reports, testing records, quality deviations, rejection, and rework data.

- Plan and coordinate internal audits, customer audits, supplier audits, and certification audits.

- Track audit observations, corrective actions, and ensure timely closure of audit findings.

- Lead CAPA, 5-Why, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and corrective/preventive actions for quality failures and recurring defects.

- Coordinate investigation and resolution of customer complaints, rejected materials, returned goods, and quality issues.

- Work closely with Production, Purchase, Stores, and Dispatch teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.

- Maintain calibration schedules, records, and certificates for measuring and testing equipment.

- Coordinate external laboratory testing, including FTIR,



TGA, DSC, SST, ELV, and other customer-specific testing requirements.

- Maintain test reports, NABL/laboratory records, and customer quality documentation.

- Maintain and control product specifications, approved samples, label approvals, inspection standards, and quality documentation.

- Ensure proper identification, segregation, and disposition of non-conforming materials.

- Monitor and analyze quality trends, rejection, rework, customer complaints, and process performance.

- Conduct quality-related training and awareness programs for Production and operational staff.

- Develop and update departmental SOPs, work instructions, and quality procedures, ensuring compliance with actual shop-floor practices.

- Prepare and submit periodic Quality MIS, quality performance reports, and pending-action status to Factory Management.
