Job DescriptionDevi Metal Products is looking for a responsible and skilled Quality Inspector / Quality Engineer for our precision machining unit in Jamnagar.

We manufacture CNC turned and Swiss-type machined components in brass, stainless steel, aluminium, mild steel, alloy steel, copper and other materials. The selected candidate will be responsible for checking component quality, maintaining inspection records, supporting production quality and ensuring customer requirements are followed properly.

Key Responsibilities

- Inspect CNC and Swiss-type machined components as per drawing.
- Use vernier caliper, micrometer, bore gauge, thread gauge, height gauge and other inspection instruments.
- Check dimensions, threads, surface finish, burrs and visual defects.
- Approve first-piece inspection before production starts.
- Perform in-process inspection during production.
- Maintain inspection reports and quality records.
- Coordinate with production team for quality issues and corrections.
- Ensure components are manufactured as per customer drawing and tolerance.
- Support sample inspection, development parts and production batches.




- Maintain proper documentation for customer and internal quality requirements.
- Stop production if any major quality issue is found.

Required Skills
- Ability to read engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of tolerances and measuring instruments.
- Experience in CNC machined components preferred.
- Basic understanding of materials like brass, stainless steel, aluminium, MS and alloy steel.
- Responsible, detail-oriented and disciplined.
- Valuable communication with production team.
- Basic computer knowledge for reports is preferred.

Qualification ITI / Diploma / Mechanical background preferredExperienced candidates from machining or engineering industry can also apply.
