1. Job Purpose

The QC Lead will be responsible for establishing, implementing and monitoring quality control systems at the project site to ensure that all construction and foundation engineering activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, quality standards and client requirements. The candidate should have strong hands-on experience in construction/infrastructure projects , particularly civil and foundation works.

1. Key ResponsibilitiesQuality Control & Site Inspection

- Lead day-to-day QC activities at the project site.
- Ensure construction work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications and method statements.
- Conduct inspections of incoming materials and construction activities.
- Monitor workmanship and ensure compliance with project quality requirements.
- Identify quality deviations and ensure timely corrective actions.
- Coordinate with Project, Planning, Site and Execution teams to resolve quality issues.

Construction & Foundation Quality Ensure quality control for activities such as:
- Piling works
- Diaphragm wall works
- Ground improvement
- Excavation and earthwork
- Reinforcement works
- Concreting and RMC
- Structural works
- Grouting
- Welding and fabrication
- Waterproofing
- Finishing works, wherever applicable

Material Quality Control
- Inspect and verify construction materials received at site.
- Review material test certificates and inspection reports.
- Coordinate material testing with approved laboratories.
- Ensure materials conform to project specifications and approved makes.
- Maintain records of material inspection and testing.
- Reject or report non-conforming materials as per procedure.

Testing & Inspection
- Prepare and implement Inspection & Test Plans (ITP) .
- Ensure required tests are conducted as per specifications and applicable standards.
- Monitor concrete testing, cube tests and other relevant material tests.
- Review test results and maintain proper records.




- Coordinate inspections with clients, consultants and third-party agencies.

NCR & Corrective Action
- Identify and document Non-Conformities (NCRs) .
- Coordinate with execution teams for root-cause analysis.
- Develop and monitor corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure timely closure of NCRs and quality observations.
- Maintain NCR and quality observation registers.

Client & Consultant Coordination
- Coordinate with clients, consultants and third-party inspection agencies.
- Attend quality inspection meetings.
- Respond to quality observations and inspection comments.
- Ensure timely submission of quality documentation.
- Support successful project audits and inspections.

QA/QC Team Management
- Lead and supervise QC Engineers, Inspectors and laboratory personnel.
- Allocate inspection responsibilities and monitor performance.
- Conduct regular quality meetings and toolbox-level quality awareness sessions.
- Train site personnel on quality requirements and procedures.

Quality Audits & Compliance
- Conduct internal quality inspections and audits.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications and applicable codes/standards.
- Monitor calibration status of testing and measuring equipment.
- Identify potential quality risks and implement preventive measures.
- Support implementation and maintenance of the company's Quality Management System.

1. Educational Qualification

Mandatory:

- Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering .

Preferred:

- B.Tech / B.E. Civil Engineering.
- Certification in Quality Management / QA-QC.
- ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification will be an advantage.

1. Experience





- 6–10 years of relevant QA/QC experience .
- Strong experience in Construction / Infrastructure / EPC / Foundation Engineering / Heavy Civil Projects .
- Experience in piling, diaphragm wall, ground improvement and other foundation works will be highly preferred.
- Experience handling client/consultant inspections and QC teams is preferred.

1. Immediate Joining Requirement

Immediate Joiner is strongly preferred. Candidates who can join immediately or within 7–15 days will be given preference.

Candidates currently serving long notice periods may be considered based on project requirements.

1. Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should be an experienced Civil QA/QC professional with strong site exposure in construction/infrastructure projects. Preference will be given to candidates with hands-on experience in piling, diaphragm wall, foundation engineering, concrete quality control and heavy civil works , along with solid client/consultant coordination skills.
