Quality Engineer – Third-Party Inspection Job Role: Quality Engineer Experience: 2–4 Years Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech – Mechanical Industry: Heavy Fabrication / Engineering / Manufacturing Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Quality Engineer to handle third-party inspection activities at a customer's heavy fabrication plant. Key ResponsibilitiesPerform QA/QC and third-party inspections as per drawings, specifications and ITP. Conduct dimensional, fabrication and welding inspections .

Verify WPS/PQR/WPQ, MTC, material traceability and weld records . Coordinate and review NDT – UT, MT, PT, RT activities. Inspect surface preparation, painting and DFT where applicable. Identify and report NCRs , coordinate corrective actions and follow up for closure.

Prepare inspection reports, quality records and daily/weekly quality reports. Support RCA, CAPA, 5 Why, 8D and quality improvement activities. Coordinate with customer Quality,



Production, Welding and Engineering teams.

Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards and customer requirements.

Required Skills Engineering Drawing | Dimensional Inspection | Welding Inspection | WPS/PQR/WPQ | ITP | MTC | NDT | NCR | CAPA | Root Cause Analysis | MS Excel Candidate Profile2–4 years of relevant QA/QC / Quality Inspection experience.

Experience in heavy fabrication/structural fabrication/heavy engineering preferred. Strong knowledge of welding and dimensional inspection. Valuable communication, documentation and problem-solving skills. Willingness to work at customer site and in shifts when required. ISO 9001 Internal Auditor / Welding Inspector certification will be an advantage.
