QUALITY CONTROL EXECUTIVE – COSMETICS

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Quality Control Executive with at least 1 year of experience in the cosmetics, personal care, pharmaceutical, or related industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that raw materials, packaging materials, in-process products, and finished cosmetic products meet the company's quality standards and applicable regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform routine testing of raw materials, packaging materials, in-process samples, and finished cosmetic products as per SOPs.
- Conduct physical, chemical, and microbiological tests to ensure product quality and consistency.
- Perform testing of cosmetic parameters such as appearance, colour, odour, pH, viscosity, specific gravity, texture, and other applicable specifications.
- Operate, maintain, and calibrate laboratory instruments and equipment.
- Prepare, review, and maintain test reports, COAs, specifications, and QC documentation.
- Assist in investigating deviations, non-conformities, OOS results, and quality-related issues.
- Ensure proper laboratory practices and compliance with GMP, GLP, and safety procedures.
- Coordinate with Production and QA teams to resolve quality issues.
- Support stability studies, product evaluation, method verification, and quality improvement activities.




- Maintain proper housekeeping and documentation of the QC laboratory.

Qualifications & Skills

- B.Sc / M.Sc in Chemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology, or related field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Quality Control, preferably in the cosmetics or personal care industry.
- B.Pharm / M.Pharm in Pharmaceutical Sciences
- B.Tech / M.Tech in Cosmetics
- Freshers are welcome; prior internship/project in QA/QC will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of cosmetic raw materials, formulations, and finished-product testing.
- Basic knowledge of laboratory instruments and analytical techniques.
- Good understanding of GMP, GLP, and cosmetic quality requirements.
- Strong documentation skills and attention to detail.
- Positive analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.Language Requirements

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Salary: ₹18,000 – ₹25,000 per month

Depending on qualification and interview performance.
