Qualification: B.E / B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

Location: Pantnagar, Uttaranchal

Responsibilities

- Monitor quality at different stages of In Process Inspection & manufacturing process.
- Conduct in-process inspections as per control plans, inspection standards, and work instructions.
- Inspect dimensions, specifications, appearance, and functional parameters of components.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T; requirements.
- Use measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Bore Gauge, and Gauges for inspection.
- Identify defects, process deviations, and non-conformities during production.
- Segregate and control rejected or defective components to prevent further processing.
- Maintain inspection reports, quality records, rejection reports, and process documentation.




- Monitor critical process parameters and ensure adherence to defined quality standards.
- Coordinate with production and process teams to identify root causes of quality issues.
- Participate in Root Cause Analysis, CAPA, 5 Why, and corrective/preventive action activities.
- Support implementation of process improvements to reduce rejection, rework, and customer complaints.
- Conduct first-piece, patrol, and final inspections as required.
- Ensure calibration status of measuring instruments and gauges is maintained.
- Support internal, customer, and quality-system audits.
- Follow company quality procedures and applicable ISO/IATF standards where applicable.
- Train and guide operators on quality requirements and defect prevention.
