Job Title: Engineer QHSE

Certification: NEBOSH / IOSH / SAMTRAC preferred

Job Summary:

We are looking for an Engineer QHSE to manage Quality, Health, Safety & Setting activities across our manufacturing plant. The role will be responsible for ensuring product quality, workplace safety, regulatory compliance, effective documentation and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Assurance & Control:

- Conduct incoming, in-process and final inspection of components, compressor assemblies and packaged units.
- Verify drawings, specifications, inspection plans, material certificates and product traceability.
- Monitor quality during assembly and testing, including dimensional, leakage, pressure and functional checks.
- Manage NCRs and coordinate CAPA with Production, Engineering and suppliers.
- Perform Root Cause Analysis using 5 Why, Fishbone, 8D or equivalent methodologies.
- Coordinate customer inspections, TPIA/witness points and quality dossier preparation.
- Maintain inspection, calibration and test documentation.
- Support quality audits, 5S, Lean and defect-reduction initiatives.

Health, Safety & Environment

- Implement HSE policies, procedures and safe-work practices across manufacturing, assembly, machining and testing areas.
- Conduct HIRA, JSA and task/process risk assessments.
- Conduct regular shop-floor safety inspections and drive corrective actions.
- Monitor critical safety controls including Machine Guarding, LOTO, Pressure Testing, Lifting & Material Handling.
- Coordinate accident,



incident and near-miss investigations.
- Support ISO 45001 & ISO 14001 compliance and audits.
- Conduct HSE inductions, toolbox talks, safety training, awareness programs and mock drills.
- Monitor emergency preparedness, firefighting equipment and safety systems.

QHSE Reporting & Continuous Improvement:

- Prepare weekly/monthly QHSE reports, quality trends, incident statistics and management presentations.
- Track NCRs, CAPA, audit findings, HSE observations and near-miss actions through closure.
- Work closely with Production, Engineering, Maintenance, Procurement, Stores and other functions.
- Identify opportunities to improve quality, safety, compliance and operational effectiveness.
- Support QHSE activities during commissioning, installation and customer-site activities when required.

Preferred Industry Experience : Candidates with experience in Oil & Gas, CNG Compressor Manufacturing, Oil & Gas Equipment, Heavy Engineering or Industrial Equipment Manufacturing will be preferred.
