Job Summary

We are looking for a Botanist / QA Executive with an M.Sc. in Botany and 1–2 years of relevant experience to support our Quality Assurance activities involving herbal raw materials and Ayurvedic products.

The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of herbal plant identification, plant taxonomy, BMR verification, and label checking, with an interest in maintaining quality and documentation standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in basic Quality Assurance (QA) activities related to herbal and Ayurvedic products.
- Identify and verify herbal plants and raw materials based on botanical characteristics.
- Apply basic knowledge of plant taxonomy and botanical classification for raw material identification.
- Check Batch Manufacturing Records (BMRs) for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with established procedures.
- Verify product labels, packaging details, and related information as per approved specifications.
- Assist in maintaining QA documentation and records.
- Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure adherence to quality and manufacturing procedures.
- Support the team in maintaining GMP, SOP,



and quality standards.
- Report discrepancies or deviations identified during routine quality checks.
- Perform other QA-related activities as assigned by the reporting manager.

Required Skills

- Basic knowledge of herbal plant identification.
- Understanding of plant taxonomy and botanical classification.
- Basic knowledge of Quality Assurance activities.
- Familiarity with BMR checking and documentation.
- Ability to perform label and packaging verification.
- Good observation and attention to detail.
- Good documentation and communication skills.
- Basic computer knowledge.

Eligibility

- M.Sc. in Botany is required.
- 1–2 years of relevant experience in Botany, Herbal/Ayurvedic products, Quality Assurance, Pharmacognosy, or a related field.
- Fresh candidates with strong knowledge of herbal plant identification and taxonomy may also be considered based on suitability.

Preferred Candidate Profile Candidates with practical exposure to herbal raw material identification, plant taxonomy, Ayurvedic manufacturing, QA documentation, BMR verification, or label checking will be preferred.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
