Job Summary

Responsible for managing the complete jewellery purchasing process, including Gold, Diamond, Silver, gemstones and finished jewellery, ensuring the right quality, price, quantity and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and manage daily/weekly jewellery purchase requirements.
- Source jewellery, Gold, Diamonds, Silver and gemstones from approved vendors.
- Identify, evaluate and develop reliable suppliers.
- Negotiate prices, making charges, discounts, payment terms and delivery schedules.
- Compare vendor quotations and select the best commercial option.
- Verify product quality, weight, purity, certification and specifications.
- Coordinate with vendors for orders, deliveries, returns and replacements.
- Maintain proper purchase records, invoices and vendor documents.
- Coordinate with Inventory, Accounts, Sales and Production teams.




- Monitor pending purchase orders and ensure timely delivery.
- Track market trends and jewellery/Gold price movements.
- Review vendor performance and maintain good supplier relationships.
- Ensure purchases follow company policies, budgets and approval procedures.
- Resolve purchase-related discrepancies and vendor issues.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of jewellery and procurement.
- Positive understanding of Gold, Diamond, Silver and gemstone products.
- Strong negotiation and vendor-management skills.
- Good knowledge of market pricing and product quality.
- Good Excel and ERP/software knowledge.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and follow-up skills.
- Honest, commercially aware and detail-oriented.

Key Objective To ensure quality jewellery is purchased at the right price, from reliable suppliers, in the required quantity and within the required time, while maintaining proper documentation and cost control. Experience: 5–8 Years preferred

Qualification: Graduate / MBA preferred

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
