Key Responsibilities Handle day-to-day purchase and procurement requirements. Source products and obtain quotations from multiple vendors. Compare price, availability, delivery timeline, warranty, and payment terms .
Negotiate with vendors for the best commercial terms and pricing. Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs) . Coordinate with Sales, Technical, Accounts, and Store teams. Follow up with vendors for timely material delivery.
Maintain and develop relationships with existing and recent vendors. Identify alternative vendors/products when required. Verify purchase requirements, specifications, quantities, and commercial terms before placing orders.
Coordinate for stock availability and urgent project requirements . Maintain proper purchase records, quotations, POs, invoices, and vendor details. Coordinate with Accounts for vendor payments and outstanding matters.
Handle warranty/RMA/replacement coordination with vendors where required. Support project procurement and ensure material reaches the required location on time. Track pending orders and provide regular procurement status updates.
Assist in improving purchase costs and overall procurement efficiency.
Preferred Industry Knowledge
Candidates with experience in IT Hardware / IT Infrastructure / Networking / System Integration / Electronics procurement will be preferred. Knowledge of products such as Servers, Laptops, Desktops, Networking Equipment, Firewalls, Wi-Fi, Storage, Structured Cabling, Racks and IT Accessories will be an added advantage.
