Purchase Executive / Procurement Executive

We are looking for an experienced Purchase Executive / Procurement Executive to handle procurement activities, vendor management, material planning, and purchase operations for a manufacturing organization.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage purchase and procurement activities and identify suitable vendors.
- Prepare and process Purchase Requisitions (PR) and Purchase Orders (PO).
- Coordinate with Production, Planning, Sales, Stores, and Accounts teams for material requirements.
- Negotiate with suppliers for best price, quality, delivery, and payment terms.
- Monitor supplier performance and ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Follow up with suppliers for POD, Delivery Notes, invoice copies, and other documents.
- Monitor stock shortages, production requirements, excess inventory, and material availability.
- Prepare reports such as Open PO, Material On-hand, Production, Finished Goods, and Material Rejection Reports.




- Handle Stock Transport Orders (STO) for inter-plant material transfers.
- Coordinate with stores for GRN and material receipt verification against PO quantity and specifications.
- Support supplier audits and supplier assessments.
- Maintain procurement records and ensure compliance with company purchasing procedures.

Qualification
- B.E / B.Tech Mechanical Engineering
- B.Com / BBA or related qualification may also be considered.

Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Purchase / Procurement.
- Experience in Manufacturing, Engineering, Automotive, Fabrication, Machinery, or Industrial Equipment is preferred.
