Job Title: Purchase Executive / Senior Purchase Executive

Industry: Manufacturing / Engineering / Automotive / Industrial Equipment

Experience: 3+ years in Procurement / Purchase

Qualification: B.Com, BBA, or Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

Job Responsibilities

- Manage procurement activities, vendor sourcing, and supplier relationships.
- Process Purchase Requisitions (PR) and Purchase Orders (PO).
- Coordinate with production, planning, and sales teams for material requirements.
- Negotiate pricing, quality, and delivery terms with suppliers.
- Monitor supplier performance and conduct supplier audits/assessments.
- Follow up on material deliveries, shortages, and production requirements.
- Maintain inventory records and monitor stock shortages, excess inventory, and material rejections.
- Prepare reports such as Material On-hand, Open PO, Production, Finished Goods, and Material Rejection Reports.
- Coordinate with suppliers for POD, Invoice Copies,



and Delivery Notes.
- Create and monitor Stock Transport Orders (STO) for inter-plant material transfers.
- Verify received materials against PO details, delivery documents, quantity, and specifications, including GRN.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and maintain purchasing records.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of procurement and purchasing procedures.
- Experience in PR/PO processing and vendor management.
- Knowledge of ERP/SAP or procurement software.
- Valuable negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office.
- Experience in manufacturing, engineering, automotive, fabrication, machinery, or industrial equipment industries is preferred.
