Job Summary

SMG Concrete Private Limited is looking for a responsible and experienced Project Supervisor to oversee day-to-day project site activities, coordinate workers and subcontractors, monitor progress, and ensure that work is completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and according to project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise daily site activities and ensure smooth execution of project work.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, contractors, subcontractors, and workers.
- Allocate manpower and monitor workforce productivity.
- Ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Monitor project progress and report daily/weekly status to the Project Manager.
- Coordinate material requirements and ensure timely availability at the site.
- Monitor material usage and minimize wastage.
- Ensure proper use, maintenance, and availability of tools and equipment.
- Identify site issues, delays, and technical or operational problems and escalate them promptly.
- Maintain daily site records, attendance, work progress, material consumption, and other project documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company safety procedures and applicable site safety requirements.
- Conduct toolbox meetings and promote safe working practices among workers.
- Coordinate inspections and support quality-control activities.
- Check completed work and ensure deficiencies are rectified.
- Maintain valuable coordination between different teams to avoid delays and rework.
- Assist the Project Manager in planning schedules, manpower, materials, and resources.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and maintain an organized work site.

Required Qualifications

- Diploma / ITI / Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in construction, concrete, infrastructure, or project-site supervision.
- Experience in supervising site teams and subcontractors.
- Basic knowledge of construction methods, drawings, measurements, and quality requirements.
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety practices.
- Basic computer skills, including MS Office and/or project reporting software.
