Run our Mumbai building. Sera Stays operates 21 premium short-term rental properties across Goa, Pondicherry and Mumbai. In Mumbai we run 10 serviced apartments in one building in Andheri, and we are hiring the person who owns it.

This is not a hotel department job. You are the senior person on site. Guests, housekeeping, maintenance, vendors, the building society and the in office team are all yours. Your manager is our Business Operations Manager, who works remotely, so you will be trusted to run the building on your own judgment and expected to report what you did, with photos, every day.

What you will do

- Own every check-in, check-out and guest issue across the 10 units, and resolve problems the same day
- Lead the housekeeping team: plan the day, inspect the work, sign off every unit on our pre-arrival readiness check before the guest arrives
- Get maintenance fixed end to end (electrical, plumbing, AC, carpentry): log it, get the vendor in, verify the fix yourself
- Manage vendors and AMCs, negotiate rates, and keep the building society on side
- Run deep-cleaning schedules and monthly linen and stock audits
- Log everything in our systems (Zoho Desk, mobile checklists, WhatsApp updates)
- When the team is short, step in yourself, including turnovers and housekeeping





What we are looking for
- 3+ years in hotel, serviced-apartment, co-living or property operations, with a team under you
- Someone who has worked without a boss in the room and owned the outcome
- Practical knowledge of electrical, plumbing and general building maintenance (you do not need to be a technician, you need to know when a vendor is lying to you)
- Comfortable with mobile apps and ticketing tools, and disciplined about written, photographic reporting
- Reachable for on-site emergencies; guests arrive late and things break in the evening
- Hindi and English required, Marathi a plus
- Based in Mumbai and able to reach Andheri daily
