Limited is the parent/group company, all recruitment, employment, payroll, and related HR processes for this role will be managed by Envirocare Infrasolution Private Limited. /n Position Overview /n We are looking for an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer to manage and supervise E&I; erection, installation, testing, and commissioning activities for LRF (Ladle Refining Furnace), VD (Vacuum Degassing), IF (Induction Furnace), and CCM (Continuous Casting Machine) facilities within the Steel Melting Shop. /n The role will be responsible for ensuring protected, timely, and quality execution of electrical and instrumentation works in line with project specifications, drawings, schedules, and applicable standards. /n Key Responsibilities /n /n

- Manage and supervise electrical and instrumentation erection, installation, testing, and commissioning activities for LRF, VD, IF, and CCM facilities.

/n

- Review electrical and instrumentation drawings, layouts, cable schedules, equipment specifications, and project requirements.

/n

- Coordinate installation of HT/LT systems, MCCs, PCCs, transformers, motors, drives, control panels, PLC/DCS systems, instrumentation, field devices, and associated cabling.

/n

- Supervise engineers, supervisors, technicians, contractors, and site personnel.

/n

- Coordinate with civil, mechanical, automation, production, commissioning, and other project teams to ensure smooth execution.

/n

- Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, vendors, and equipment suppliers for technical and execution-related matters.

/n





- Monitor project progress against approved schedules and ensure timely completion of activities.

/n

- Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, method statements, quality standards, and project specifications.

/n

- Plan manpower, materials, tools, and equipment required for site execution.

/n

- Inspect completed installations and coordinate pre-commissioning, testing, commissioning, and trial-run activities.

/n

- Troubleshoot electrical and instrumentation issues during installation and commissioning.

/n

- Ensure compliance with electrical safety procedures, HSE requirements, permit-to-work systems, and statutory standards.

/n

- Prepare and maintain daily/weekly progress reports, inspection records, test reports, commissioning reports, checklists, and as-built documentation.

/n

- Monitor contractor performance, productivity, quality, and adherence to project timelines.

/n

- Identify execution risks, delays, and technical issues and coordinate corrective actions.

/n

- Participate in project review meetings and provide regular updates to project management.

/n /n Required Qualifications /n /n

- B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Instrumentation Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or equivalent.

/n

- Strong knowledge of electrical and instrumentation systems used in steel plants / steel melting shops.

/n





- Good understanding of industrial electrical systems, instrumentation, automation, testing, and commissioning practices.

/n

- Knowledge of relevant electrical safety standards and industrial practices.

/n /n Experience Required /n /n

- 5–10 years of relevant experience in electrical & instrumentation erection, installation, testing, commissioning, and project execution.

/n

- Experience in Steel Melting Shop (SMS), LRF, VD, IF, CCM, or other heavy industrial/steel plant projects will be highly preferred.

/n

- Candidates with hands-on experience in E&I; project execution and commissioning will be preferred.
