Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to oversee and manage various projects, maintenance activities and improvement works at our manufacturing plant. The candidate will be responsible for planning, execution, supervision, contractor coordination, quality, timelines and cost control.

The candidate will also be responsible for handling all types of ongoing projects and site activities within the plant, including minor and major projects, maintenance, repair, modification, renovation, improvement and other operational requirements as assigned by management.

Key Responsibilities

· Plan, execute and monitor various plant projects from start to completion.

· Manage day-to-day project and site activities and ensure timely completion as per schedules.

· Take ownership of all ongoing minor and major projects within the plant premises, irrespective of the nature of work.

· Handle and coordinate plant maintenance, repair, modification, renovation and improvement works as required.

· Coordinate with contractors, engineers, architects, vendors, consultants and internal teams.

· Supervise and coordinate different types of project-related work carried out within the plant.

· Monitor project progress, manpower, material and resource requirements.

· Ensure work is completed as per approved drawings, specifications, quality standards and company requirements.





· Check the quality of materials and workmanship wherever applicable.

· Prepare and monitor project schedules, BOQ, work estimates and budgets.

· Control project costs and minimize material, manpower and resource wastage.

· Identify project delays, operational issues and other challenges and take corrective action.

· Maintain daily/weekly project progress and status reports.

· Ensure proper coordination between civil, electrical, mechanical, maintenance, production and other departments.

· Coordinate multiple projects and maintenance activities simultaneously and ensure smooth execution.

· Manage contractors, vendors and manpower involved in different plant projects and works.

· Ensure timely availability of required materials, manpower, machinery and other resources.

· Handle urgent repair, breakdown-related project work and other plant improvement requirements whenever required.

· Ensure compliance with plant safety procedures, quality standards and company policies.

· Perform any other project, maintenance or plant-related responsibility assigned by management.

Required Skills

· Strong knowledge of Project Management and Plant Operations.

· Good understanding of industrial / manufacturing plant projects and maintenance activities.





· Strong contractor, vendor and manpower management skills.

· Good knowledge of project planning, estimation, costing and budgeting.

· Ability to manage multiple projects and activities simultaneously.

· Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

· Good knowledge of MS Excel and project management tools.

· Ability to coordinate with multiple departments and external agencies.

· Solid communication, coordination and negotiation skills.

· Ability to independently handle projects from planning to completion.

· Strong follow-up and execution skills.

Preferred Candidate

· Experience in industrial / factory / manufacturing plant project management will be preferred.

· Candidates with experience in handling multiple types of plant projects and maintenance activities will be preferred.

· Experience in contractor and vendor management will be an added advantage.

· Candidates who can independently manage projects, maintenance and improvement activities will be preferred.

· Candidates with strong execution and problem-solving abilities will be preferred.

· Local candidates from Raipur/Chhattisgarh will be preferred.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
