Company Description Leading integrated Coal Mining Operator based in Nagpur, Maharashtra, offering end-to-end services across the coal chain. Our principal customers are mine-owning subsidiaries of Coal India Limited, namely Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL) and Western Coalfields Limited (WCL).

Role Description The Project Head – Coal Mining is responsible for leading and overseeing coal mining operations at the mining site in Chandrapur. This full-time, on-site role involves planning and executing mining projects, supervising teams, and ensuring production targets are met safely and efficiently. The position includes coordinating with engineering, logistics, and maintenance teams, monitoring equipment utilization, and implementing best practices for extraction and material handling.

The Project

Head ensures compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations, manages project budgets and timelines, and prepares regular reports on operational targets. The role also involves stakeholder coordination, problem-solving in day-to-day operations, and continuous improvement of processes to enhance productivity and reduce operational risks.

Key Skills

- Robust expertise in coal mining operations, including mine planning,



production management, and site supervision.
- Proficiency in using mining machinery and equipment, with the ability to optimize utilization and oversee maintenance coordination.
- Project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, resource allocation, and performance monitoring.
- Team leadership capabilities, with experience managing diverse on-site teams and coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Effective communication and reporting skills, including the ability to prepare operational updates and present findings to management.
- Relevant academic background, such as a degree or diploma in Mining Engineering or a related field; additional certifications in safety or project management are an advantage.

Experience & Credential :

- 15-20 years experience in coal mining projects, preferably First-Class Mines Manager with Certificate of Competency (Coal) issued by DGMS.
