Job Purpose To plan, coordinate and execute HVAC projects efficiently, ensuring timely completion, technical compliance, quality workmanship, proper material utilisation, safety and customer satisfaction.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

1. Project Planning & Execution

- Study project drawings, BOQ, specifications and work schedules.
- Plan manpower, materials, tools and equipment required for site execution.
- Coordinate and monitor HVAC installation activities from mobilisation to completion.
- Ensure projects are completed within the approved schedule and budget.

2. Site Supervision

- Supervise installation of VRF/VRV, split, cassette, ductable and other HVAC systems.
- Monitor copper piping, insulation, drain piping, ducting, supports, electrical connections and equipment installation.
- Ensure installation is carried out as per approved drawings, manufacturer guidelines and project specifications.
- Check workmanship and rectify site-level technical issues.

3. Drawings & Technical Coordination

- Read and interpret HVAC layouts, shop drawings, schematics and BOQ.
- Coordinate with consultants, architects, MEP contractors and other agencies.
- Identify drawing discrepancies and obtain necessary clarifications before execution.
- Coordinate with the design/draughtsman team for revisions and site requirements.

4. Material Management

- Prepare material requirements based on BOQ and project progress.
- Coordinate with Stores/Purchase for timely availability of materials.
- Ensure materials are issued against approved requirements and used as per BOQ.
- Monitor excess consumption, wastage, damages and return of surplus materials.

5. Testing & Commissioning

- Coordinate pressure testing, vacuuming, refrigerant charging and system testing.
- Ensure proper commissioning and performance testing of HVAC equipment.
- Prepare/check testing and commissioning records.
- Ensure snag points are identified and closed before handover.

6. Quality & Safety

- Ensure compliance with company quality standards and project specifications.




- Follow manufacturer installation standards and approved method statements.
- Ensure proper PPE and safe working practices at site.
- Report unsafe conditions, quality issues and deviations immediately.

7. Customer & Site Coordination

- Coordinate with customers and site representatives for execution requirements.
- Attend site meetings and provide project progress updates.
- Resolve technical and execution-related customer complaints promptly.
- Maintain good professional relationships with clients and contractors.

8. Documentation & Reporting

- Maintain daily site reports, manpower records and work-progress reports.
- Track material consumption against BOQ.
- Maintain measurement sheets, inspection reports, checklists and commissioning documents.
- Submit regular project progress reports to management.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Project completion within scheduled time.
- Material consumption within approved BOQ.
- Minimum material wastage and rework.
- Quality of installation and commissioning.
- Timely closure of site snags.
- Customer satisfaction.
- Effective manpower and subcontractor utilisation.
- Compliance with safety requirements.

Qualification Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical / HVAC / Refrigeration & Air Conditioning / MEP Engineering.

Experience

2–4 years of relevant experience in HVAC project execution, preferably with experience in VRF/VRV, split, cassette, ductable and commercial HVAC projects.

Skills Required

- Positive knowledge of HVAC installation and commissioning.
- Ability to read HVAC drawings and BOQs.
- Good site coordination and manpower management skills.
- Knowledge of HVAC materials and installation practices.
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD will be an advantage.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Ability to coordinate with customers, consultants, vendors and contractors.

Preferred Candidate A technically strong, responsible and hands-on engineer who can independently manage HVAC site activities and ensure timely execution, quality installation and controlled material consumption. Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
