About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and responsible Project Coordinator to support and coordinate social innovation and community development initiatives in Poonjar Constituency, Kerala.

The ideal candidate should have strong communication and coordination skills, a proactive approach, and an interest in social development and community-focused projects. The role involves coordinating with different stakeholders, supporting project activities, conducting field-level activities, maintaining documentation, and ensuring the smooth implementation of projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate and support the implementation of social innovation and community development projects.
- Coordinate with project teams, community members, local organizations, institutions, and other stakeholders.
- Plan and organize meetings, workshops, awareness programmes, campaigns, and community activities.
- Conduct field visits and collect relevant information, feedback, and project data.
- Maintain project documentation, records, databases, and reports.
- Monitor project activities and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
- Prepare regular project progress reports and updates for management.
- Identify challenges during project implementation and coordinate with the team to develop practical solutions.
- Support community engagement and awareness activities.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with local stakeholders and community groups.




- Assist in planning and executing new social innovation initiatives.
- Manage multiple activities and ensure proper follow-up and coordination.

Educational Qualification Preferred candidates with a postgraduate qualification in:

- Master of Social Work (MSW)
- Development Studies
- Social Work
- Rural Development
- Sociology
- Public Administration
- Community Development
- Project Management
- or other relevant social science / development-related fields.

Graduates with relevant experience and strong communication, leadership, and project coordination skills may also be considered.

Required Skills

- Excellent communication skills in Malayalam and English.
- Good MS Office / Google Workspace skills.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of Excel and report preparation.
- Strong documentation and reporting skills.

- Ability to work independently as well as as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel locally for project-related activities.
- Passion for community development and social innovation.
