Role Summary

As a Project Associate, you will have a high visibility role where you will support and assist in planning, tracking, and coordinating quick-paced projects in cybersecurity and technology. You will work closely with the internal teams and clients to ensure the timely delivery of project milestones, track progress, and contribute to overall success. This is a role for someone with a sharp memory, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to hold the full state of multiple projects in their head at once.

You must understand what each type of activity entails at a functional level, well enough to speak credibly with clients and internal stakeholders and to manage the project.

Mandatory Skill Sets/Expertise

- Educational Qualification: Bachelors degree in Engineering/Technology, MBA good to have, 13 years in project coordination or project management, ideally in IT services, cybersecurity, or another delivery-driven technical environment.
- A technical background (degree in CS/IT/Engineering or demonstrably equivalent) and a track record of learning new technical domains quickly.
- Excellent written and spoken English; comfortable being the face of the project to the client
- Organizational skills with attention to detail
- Strong planning, organizing, and execution skills
- Exceptional working memory and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively with global teams & clients, and with staff of different backgrounds and experience levels, along with managing goals

- Ability to stay calm under pressure

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate penetration testing engagements end-to-end: kickoff, scheduling, execution tracking, report delivery, and retest closure.
- Act as the single point of contact for the client throughout the engagement - own all status communication, expectation setting, and escalation.
- Chase and verify engagement prerequisites before test start: signed scope and rules of engagement, credentials, IP whitelisting, environment access, test windows, and emergency contacts.
- Track multiple concurrent engagements with precise, current status — dates, scope boundaries, blockers, tester assignments, and deliverable deadlines.
- Run daily/periodic syncs with testers during active test windows; surface blockers within hours, not days.
- Perform a detail-level quality check on outgoing deliverables (correct client name, scope, dates, versioning, finding counts) before anything leaves Accorian.
- Maintain project trackers, dashboards, and engagement documentation; keep internal stakeholders informed without being asked.
- Escalate risks early - slipping timelines, scope creep, unresponsive client contacts — with a proposed course of action.
- Generate and maintain project reports, ensuring accuracy and consistency
- Support internal process improvements and contribute to strategic initiatives
