Studio TreeSpace is a boutique architecture and design practice based in Goa, specialising in holiday homes, villas, resorts and residential communities. We believe in creating thoughtful, contextual architecture with a strong emphasis on design, materiality and the experience of living.

Role

We are looking for an experienced and driven Architect who can take ownership of projects from design development through execution. The ideal candidate should combine strong design thinking with technical knowledge, project management skills and the ability to lead a team.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead architectural projects from concept design to construction and completion.
- Take ownership of project timelines, deliverables and overall design quality.
- Develop and review concept, design development, working and construction drawings.
- Prepare detailed architectural drawings, construction details, material specifications and schedules.
- Coordinate effectively with structural, MEP, landscape, interior and other consultants.
- Lead client presentations, design discussions and project coordination meetings.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors and site teams to ensure accurate execution of design intent.
- Conduct regular site visits and resolve architectural and technical issues during construction.
- Review shop drawings, material samples and mock-ups where required.
- Manage and mentor junior architects and oversee drawing production.
- Delegate tasks effectively and ensure drawings are completed within agreed timelines.
- Identify design, technical and execution challenges and develop practical solutions.
- Assist in project planning, budgeting, material selection and procurement coordination.




- Maintain clear documentation and communication throughout the project.
- Ensure that the final execution maintains the studio's design standards and attention to detail.

Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.
- 4–6 years of professional experience in an architecture practice.
- Robust experience in residential, hospitality, villa or similar projects is preferred.
- Excellent understanding of architectural design, construction and detailing.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Working knowledge of SketchUp, Photoshop and MS Office.
- Knowledge of 3D visualisation/rendering software is an advantage.
- Good understanding of materials, construction methods and building services.
- Ability to coordinate and review structural and MEP drawings.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Experience managing junior architects or small project teams.
- Ability to independently handle multiple project requirements and deadlines.
- Willingness to travel to project sites when required.
