Job Summary:

The Production Supervisor will oversee and manage the daily operations of the production floor for medical devices, ensuring that manufacturing processes run smoothly, efficiently, and meet all regulatory requirements. This role involves leading a team of production workers, maintaining quality standards, and implementing production schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervision and Leadership:

- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the production team, including training, coaching, and performance management.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and company policies.
- Production Management:
- Plan and organize production schedules to meet targets and deadlines.
- Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as needed.
- Manage workflow and allocate tasks to ensure optimal productivity.
- Batch issue for operators and proper line clearance.
- RM returns to stores.
- Daily production monitoring of every operators.
- Training the recent and existing operators periodically.
- Log book updating in every process.
- Movement of the materials as per SOP
- Ensure of proper arrangement of raw materials in the RM handling room.
- Quality Control:
- Maintain high standards of product quality and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular inspections and quality checks on products and processes.
- Implement corrective actions for any quality issues identified.
- Maintain cleanliness and Hygiene in the production shop floor.




- Ensure that a proper labelling and identification tags are placed for all the RM, PM and Bins.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency.
- Work closely with the engineering and quality assurance teams to streamline production processes.
- Resource Management:
- Ensure the availability of necessary materials and equipment for production.
- Manage inventory levels and coordinate with the procurement department for timely replenishment.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of production activities, including output, downtime, and quality metrics.
- Prepare and present regular reports on production performance to management.
- Team Collaboration:
- Foster a collaborative and positive work environment.
- Liaise with other departments such as quality assurance, engineering, and logistics to ensure smooth production operations.
- Identification Traceability:
- Ensure all products and materials are properly labeled and traceable through the production process.
- Maintain accurate records of batch numbers, production dates, and expiration dates.
- Implement and oversee traceability procedures to quickly identify and address any production issues.
