Job Title: Production Supervisor – Furniture Manufacturing

We are looking for an experienced Production Supervisor to manage and supervise daily production activities in our modular furniture manufacturing unit. The candidate should have good knowledge of production processes, manpower handling, material coordination and quality control.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise and manage daily production activities and production targets.
- Allocate work to carpenters, machine operators, helpers and other production workers.
- Monitor production progress and ensure timely completion of orders.
- Coordinate with the design, purchase, stores and installation/site teams.
- Check cut lists, drawings, measurements and production requirements.
- Monitor machines such as CNC, Beam Saw, Edge Banding, Multi Boring and other woodworking machines.
- Ensure proper material usage and minimize wastage.
- Inspect finished products for quality, dimensions and workmanship.
- Handle worker attendance, discipline and day-to-day manpower issues.
- Train and guide workers to improve productivity and work quality.
- Identify production delays and resolve day-to-day operational issues.
- Ensure proper loading,



unloading and movement of materials when required.
- Maintain production records, job status and daily production reports.
- Ensure workers follow company safety rules and use required safety equipment.
- Coordinate with management to achieve production schedules and targets.

Qualification & Experience:

- Diploma / ITI / Degree in Mechanical, Production, Manufacturing or related field preferred.
- Experience in modular furniture, woodworking or manufacturing industry preferred.
- Experience in handling production workers and shop-floor operations.
- Hindi language knowledge is highly preferred for effective communication with Hindi-speaking workers.
- Positive communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under production targets and deadlines.
