About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Production Supervisor to oversee daily shop-floor manufacturing operations at our Ahmedabad plant. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in sheet metal fabrication, welding processes, assembly lines, and industrial packaging solutions (steel pallets, storage racks, stillages, wire-mesh containers, and heavy structural components).

Key Responsibilities

- Shop-Floor & Shift Management:
- Plan, assign, and direct daily shop-floor production activities across fabrication, cutting, bending, welding, powder coating/painting, and final assembly lines.
- Monitor shift progress to ensure daily, weekly, and monthly production targets are achieved on schedule.
- Fabrication & Process Oversight:
- Supervise sheet metal processing, structural steel fabrication, and welding operations (MIG/TIG) in line with technical drawings, jigs/fixtures, and quality standards (e.g., EN 15085 / ISO norms).
- Coordinate production runs for returnable/expendable steel packaging (RSR/ESR), engine racks, Euro pallets, roll cages, and custom material-handling equipment.
- Quality & Dimensional Control:
- Enforce strict in-process quality inspections to minimize rework, scrap, and dimensional defects.




- Ensure final products match engineering specifications and client tolerances before moving to finishing/dispatch.
- Resource & Material Management:
- Track raw material and consumables usage (steel pipes, sheets, wire mesh, welding wire, gas, liners like PU/Nylon).
- Identify line bottlenecks and coordinate with maintenance to minimize machinery downtime.
- Manpower Handling & Safety:
- Supervise welders, fitters, machine operators, and contractual labor; manage shift attendance, overtime, and work discipline.
- Maintain strict 5S and shop-floor safety protocols (PPE compliance, hazard identification, and accident prevention).
- Reporting:
- Maintain daily production logs, shift handover reports, operator productivity records, and material rejection logs.

Candidate Profile & Requirements
- Education: Diploma or B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical / Production / Automobile Engineering.
- Experience: 2 to 6 years of experience as a Production Supervisor in sheet metal fabrication, industrial packaging, heavy fabrication, or automotive component manufacturing.
- Technical Skills:
- Ability to interpret engineering/fabrication drawings and weld symbols accurately.
- Practical understanding of welding, pressing, sheet metal punching/bending, and assembly jigs.
- Knowledge of 5S, Kaizen, and standard industrial safety standards.
- Soft Skills: Solid leadership, labor management, and problem-solving abilities

Pay: ₹25,500.00 - ₹31,500.00 per month
