Role Purpose To lead and manage end-to-end production operations for the Home Furniture Division, ensuring production targets, quality, productivity, cost efficiency, timely delivery, and optimal manpower utilization.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, manage and monitor daily/monthly production as per business requirements and dispatch schedules.
- Drive production of wooden/home furniture while ensuring adherence to quality and productivity standards.
- Manage and optimize manpower, machines, materials and production capacity.
- Ensure smooth coordination between Production, Planning, Quality, Maintenance, Stores, Design and Commercial teams.
- Monitor production KPIs including productivity, rejection, rework, wastage, OEE, downtime and delivery adherence.
- Identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements, Lean/Kaizen and productivity enhancement initiatives.
- Ensure effective utilization of wood, boards, hardware, consumables and other raw materials.
- Maintain production discipline and ensure compliance with SOPs, safety standards and 5S practices.
- Lead and develop the production team, including supervisors, operators and workmen.
- Review production performance regularly and take corrective actions to achieve targets.
- Work closely with the Quality team to minimize rejection,



rework and customer complaints.
- Support new product development, process trials and product/process improvements.
- Ensure proper maintenance coordination to minimize machine breakdowns and production downtime.
- Prepare and present regular production MIS and performance reports to senior management.

Candidate Profile
- Engineering Graduate with 12/14 years of overall experience.
- Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in woodworking/furniture manufacturing is mandatory.
- Strong exposure to wood-based furniture production processes, machinery, manpower management and production planning.
- Experience in managing large-scale production teams and multiple production lines will be preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and people-management skills.
- Should be target-oriented with a solid focus on productivity, quality and timely delivery.
- Experience in home furniture / modular furniture manufacturing will be an added advantage.
