Role Description The Production Manager will oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations, ensuring production schedules are met safely, efficiently, and to required quality standards.

Responsibilities include planning and organizing production activities, allocating resources, supervising shop-floor teams, and coordinating with design, quality, and procurement teams to ensure smooth workflow. The role involves monitoring equipment performance, implementing process improvements, managing inventory related to production, and maintaining compliance with company policies and industrial safety regulations.

The Production

Manager will also track key performance indicators, prepare reports for management,



and support continuous improvement initiatives. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Coimbatore.

Qualifications

- Strong production planning and control skills, including scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow optimization.
- Experience in supervising manufacturing teams, with skills in people management, performance monitoring, and training.
- Knowledge of machinery and material handling equipment, with the ability to understand technical drawings and specifications.
- Proficiency in quality assurance practices, process improvement, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
- Ability to coordinate with cross-functional departments such as design, procurement, and logistics for timely project execution.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a focus on operational efficiency.
- Effective communication and documentation skills, including report preparation and use of basic computer applications.
- Relevant technical qualification such as a diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field.
- Prior experience in fabrication, machinery manufacturing, or material handling equipment production is highly beneficial.
- Willingness to work on-site in Coimbatore and be available for hands-on involvement on the shop floor.
