- Responsible for overall production planning and execution.
- Handling of Plant manpower according to production planning.
- Management of Raw material in accordance with production Planning.
- Co-ordination with cross functional department for production requirements.
- Preparation, review of documents & ensuring that the documents are approved by QA ensuring the instructions are followed for the production of intermediates or API according to written procedures.
- Making sure that all the department procedure in line with the requirements mentioned in for system SOP as well as departmental SOPs.
- Reviewing all production batch records and ensuring that these are completed and signed.
- Making sure that all production deviations are reported and evaluated and that critical deviations are investigated and the conclusions are recorded.
- Making sure that all production incidents are reported and evaluated and that incidents are investigated and the conclusions are recorded.
- Making sure that production facilities are clean and when appropriate disinfected.
- Making sure that the necessary calibrations are performed and records kept.




- Making sure that the premises and equipment are maintained and records kept.
- Preparation and Review of Validation Protocol and reports and Making sure that validation protocols and reports are reviewed and approved.
- Initiation of change controls and Evaluating proposed changes in product, process or equipment and carrying out risk analysis whenever applicable.
- Making sure that new and, when appropriate, modified facilities and equipment are qualified.
- Maintain & Verify that the Safety procedure are updated and followed.
- Making sure that CAPA are provided and implemented.
- Attending & coordinating QRM activity.
- Personnel responsibilities shall be updated whenever change in designation / work nature /responsibility.
- Attending training programs as per the schedules provided.
- Providing inputs of manufacturing to customer queries
- To perform any other activity assign by the HOD.
- Organizing disposal of unwanted materials.
- To conduct department Training.
