Quality Engineer

Role & Responsibilities

- Conduct in-process and final inspection of plastic injection-moulded components.
- Ensure product quality as per customer specifications, Control Plan and work instructions.
- Monitor and control rejection, rework and quality-related issues.
- Identify defects and coordinate with Production for corrective actions.
- Maintain daily inspection reports and quality records.
- Handle quality inspection and measurement activities.
- Coordinate with Production and Dispatch teams to meet customer requirements.
- Support customer complaint analysis and corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and company procedures.
- Maintain proper documentation and records.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- 2 to 4 years of experience in Quality Department, preferably in plastic injection moulding.
- Experience with an automotive plastic component manufacturer is preferred.
- Candidates who have worked with a Bajaj Auto vendor will be preferred.
- Knowledge of plastic injection moulding processes and quality inspection.
- Good knowledge of computer applications is mandatory.
- Knowledge of measuring instruments and inspection methods will be preferred.
- Positive communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
- Education: DPE / CIPET / ITI / B.E. Mechanical or equivalent.

Role & Responsibilities

- Handle day-to-day production activities in plastic injection moulding.




- Plan and allocate manpower as per production requirements.
- Ensure achievement of daily production targets as per customer requirements.
- Monitor machine, mould and process parameters.
- Carry out mould changing, mould fitting and machine setup activities.
- Ensure smooth start-up and changeover of moulds.
- Monitor production quality and coordinate with the Quality Department.
- Coordinate with Maintenance for machine and mould-related issues.
- Maintain production records and reports.
- Follow TPM, safety and housekeeping practices.
- Control rejection, downtime and production losses.
- Ensure proper manpower utilization and discipline on the shop floor.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- 2 to 4years of experience in Production / Plastic Injection Moulding.
- Experience as a Production Supervisor or Mould Changer will be preferred.
- Experience in automotive plastic injection moulding is preferred.
- Candidates who have worked with a Bajaj Auto vendor will be preferred.
- Knowledge of SAP and TPM will be an added advantage.
- Good knowledge of mould changing, machine setup and injection moulding processes.
- Good manpower handling and production planning skills.
- Education: B.E. / DME / CIPET / B.Tech / M.Tech (Polymer preferred).
- ITI candidates with relevant mould-changing experience may also be considered.
