Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Mechanical Procurement Engineer with 2+ years of experience in sourcing and procurement of mechanical components, equipment, and industrial materials. The ideal candidate will be responsible for vendor management, supplier negotiations, purchase order processing, and ensuring timely procurement to support project and production requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Source and procure mechanical components, raw materials, machinery, and industrial consumables as per project requirements.
- Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable vendors and suppliers.
- Obtain quotations, compare prices, negotiate terms, and finalize purchase orders.




- Ensure timely delivery of materials while maintaining quality and cost standards.
- Coordinate with engineering, production, stores, and project teams for material planning and procurement schedules.
- Review technical specifications, drawings, and BOMs (Bill of Materials) before procurement.
- Track purchase orders and follow up with suppliers to avoid delays.
- Maintain procurement records, vendor databases, and purchase documentation.
- Conduct vendor performance evaluations and support supplier audits.
- Monitor market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and quality standards.
