Job summary:

We are looking for a Process & Maintenance Engineer to manage manufacturing process improvement and maintenance activities in our electrical panel manufacturing facility. The candidate will be responsible for improving production efficiency, maintaining machinery, reducing machine downtime, and ensuring smooth and protected production operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor and improve electrical panel manufacturing processes to increase productivity and efficiency.

- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of production machines and equipment.

- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues and minimize machine downtime.

- Reduce production time, material wastage, rework, and maintenance costs.

- Maintain maintenance schedules, breakdown records, SOPs, and process documentation.

- Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Design teams to resolve process and machine-related issues.

- Implement 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement activities.

- Ensure machines and production processes comply with safety and quality standards.

- Train operators on proper machine operation, basic maintenance, and safety procedures.

- Support the team in achieving production, quality, and delivery targets.

Required Qualifications

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Production Engineering, or a related field.





- 2–3 years of experience in any Electrical and Mechanical Field

- Experience in electrical panel manufacturing will be preferred.

- Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical maintenance.

- Ability to read engineering drawings and machine manuals.

Required Skills

- Good communication and coordination skills.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Good knowledge of manufacturing process improvement.

- Knowledge of fabrication, assembly, wiring, and testing processes.

- Knowledge of Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action.

- Ability to work effectively in a production/shop-floor environment.

- Knowledge of 5S, Kaizen, and Lean Manufacturing practices.

- Good attention to detail and quality awareness.

Preferred Attributes

- Experience in electrical panel board or switchgear manufacturing.

- Hands-on experience in machine maintenance and troubleshooting.

- Ability to reduce machine downtime and improve production efficiency.

- Proactive approach to solving process and maintenance issues.

- Strong teamwork and attention to safety and quality.
